The NRA's Home Firearm Safety course is a NON shooting course and teaches students the basic knowledge, skills and explains the attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home.  This is a four hour course in gun handling and is conducted in the classroom only.  There will be firearms present for handling demonstrations only.  Students are taught the NRA's three fundamental rules for safe gun handling, primary causes of firearm accidents, firearm parts, how to unload various types of firearms and actions, ammunition components, cleaning and safe storage of firearms in the home and the benefit of becoming an active participant in the shooting sports.  Students will receive the NRA Home Firearm Safety book as well as a course completion certificate.

This is the one course that everyone should take regardless of your shooting experience.  It is a great course to take with your children and as a family.  We are offering an ongoing discount for children who take the course with a parent.
